The vast saltwater marsh systems in Georgia and South Carolina are some of the most beautiful and unspoiled Eco Systems on the planet. Come witness them first hand while targeting Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Triple Tail or some of our visiting Tarpon, Sharks or the ubiquitous Whiting.
Bring
What to bring:
- A positive attitude (the fish can feel it).
- Sunscreen.
- Beverages (I supply water).
- Food/snacks. (I can provide box lunches for an additional cost)
- Hat.
- Sunglasses.
- Clothing for the season with extra layers in the spring, winter and fall. If it looks like rain is a possibility bring rain gear, that way you won’t need it.
- Non-Marking non slip shoes.
- Small cooler for your beverages.
What’s included:
All bait, fishing licenses and tackle are included in the charter, please let the captain know what type of trip you are interested in so the proper gear and bait will be rigged and ready.
The boat has a fully iced 65 quart Engel Cooler for the fish.
The captain uses Shimano Stradic 2500-5000 series spinning reels with Shimano rods for most inshore fish, heavier tackle is suited to the trip and is high quality. Fly gear consists of Hardy and TFO rods with Bauer, Hardy and other assorted reels.
